Hi Shali, the first link ( http://demo.plumi.org/Members/anna/videos/ghoulbert-gets-good/view) is a video that has been transcoded successfully in webm (for mobile) and mp4 versions, on standard quality plus a high one. The transcoded profiles can be altered in Plumi, so the produced transcoded video files differ according to a site administrator needs. There is documentation on how to change the transcoding profiles, it has to be updated though I believe.
The second link is apparently a music file (can be downloaded through http://demo.plumi.org/Members/Kacykos/videos/kacykos/at_download/video_file), so Plumi does not need to transcode it, but it includes a player so the file can be reproduced. Hope this helps, Cheers On Wed, Aug 20, 2014 at 9:48 AM, Shali K.R. <[email protected]> wrote: > Dear All, > > In the demo.plumi.org website its seen that in some videos there are > "View High Quality" and Download option > > for example, > > http://demo.plumi.org/Members/anna/videos/ghoulbert-gets-good/view > > and some videos dont have the previously mentioned options, > > for example , > > http://demo.plumi.org/Members/Kacykos/videos/kacykos > > > What is the difference between these videos?? or settings?? > > i cant find these options in my plumi installation thats why i am asking, > any body please reply. > > > -- > Thanks & Regards > > Shali K R > Server Administrator > *V*idya *A*cademy of *S*cience & *T*echnology, > Thrissur,Kerala. > Mob:+91-9846303531 > > > _______________________________________________ > Discuss mailing list > [email protected] > http://lists.plumi.org/listinfo/discuss > > -- https://unweb.me state of the art information systems
