I did some playing around. It was set to ‘On’, but I couldn’t smell any gas. No
sign of pilot light, either.
There’s a little diamond to the right of the knob. Setting it to ‘on’ or ‘off’
or ‘pilot’ means lining that up. I couldn’t figure out where to light the
pilot, so I left it at that and turned it off.
(Besides, it’s supposed to be off for at least 5 minutes before lighting, so
that it doesn’t explode too much.)
