Is staying being ruled out because we're being ask to pay the $3,000 up front instead of Assent Works financing it? We could finance it other ways -- for example, I'd be willing to lend $500 over 3 years at 3% interest. If 6 of us did that it would only be $87.24 a month in repayments.
Even 6% interest (if required to attract more lenders) would only be $91.27/month.
