For example, I think a semi-autonomous robot "dog" for the space would make a nice pet/mascot and framework for robotics skill development as well as a potential attention-getter for things like ComicCon/JimCon booths in the future. My thought of the last week or so was to just fund it and work on it as I am able but additional funding can always be useful. For those curious or with suggestions on the implementation side, I'm thinking tread-style motion for the ability to turn-in-place, Raspberry Pi-based brain with wifi connection, "feeding"-center charging spot to visit as needed, sensors tbd but object avoidance, mic, and speaker at least. But is is Awesome enough for application to the foundation? - Richard On Tue, Nov 13, 2012 at 9:24 AM, Ron <[email protected]> wrote: -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 The mailing list does exist, and I add peoiple to it at Awesome Michael's request.
