Our Contact at the Virology Lab has had to move things into February. I received an email announcing this last week:
"Well, it looks like I will have to do what I didn't want to do, postpone next week's event. There have been some presentation challenges. This has now been compounded with some tour challenges. In my 10 years here at the lab, I have never had a really cool and interesting activity such as this face so many hurdles. As such, this really wasn't what I wanted to do, but it will be better if we do it "right", in February. It will be worth it, trust me!" I'm of course disappointed by this sudden turn of events, but knowing what I know about government and the many levels of approvals and hurdles I'm not 100% surprised at this. I'm going to work with Brian to build in capacity for the tour and event to reach more of our members, given the longer time frame we now have. The list for tour 1 as I am calling it will remain in place for February, 2013 and I'll start building a list for tour 2. Ian
