I think in Canada you fine if you provide a citation; the worst that can happen is they will send you a letter asking you to remove the content. I’m not a lawyer, but if you’re not doing it for profit there is no way to claim damages, so it’s highly unlikely you would end up in any serious trouble. I think the entire concept of PINTREST is built around copying shit you seen on the internet and pinning it onto your own space. Does the same apply for knitting patterns? Let's say that I see a pattern online (instructions on how to make a pattern) and I want to post it to my own blog. Can I do that without getting in nasty legal trouble?
