Looks like an interesting project. The storyboard image is a little bit confusing as to what's done and what's not.
Also, fair warning to whoever applies to this project -- the original app is written by BIT students from RRC who couldn't get a co-op job :) They also had 4 months to deliver the project with at least 3 (possibly 4 or 5) students and teacher support. I don't envision the code base being great as the only RoR course they give is one following this book: http://pragprog.com/book/rails3/agile-web-development-with-rails That aside, there seems to be a lot of features in the app... and the time frame is from mid-March to April 30th (6 weeks). I would start this project by cutting features :) My two cents! -Mark On Wed, Jan 23, 2013 at 2:20 PM, Justin Lacko <[email protected]> wrote: > [image: Inline images 1] > > > On 23 January 2013 13:09, [email protected] <[email protected]> wrote: > >> Sounds like something I could be useful for although I have some thoughts: >> >> - Would probably need somewhere within 2-3ish people. >> - I wonder if $12k is a bit low for the schema and moving bits I'm seeing >> here. >> - One does not simply quit their day job. >> >> It's definitely well thought out and it's lots of information though. >> >> Would like to hear what others think (if interested)... >> >> >> On Wed, Jan 23, 2013 at 12:46 PM, Justin Lacko <[email protected]> wrote: >> >>> This looks really awesome, and if I was of the programmin' type I'd >>> definitely wanna do something with this :) >>> >>> >>> On 23 January 2013 12:22, Nathan Wild <[email protected]> wrote: >>> >>>> >>>> A friend of mine is working on a really cool project and needs some >>>> developer assistance.
