Sounds like this is another "set up a table/man the booth, bring the Winnitron"-type event. With the experience we've had with doing these type of events already, we should be able to bang something out with a few volunteers.
I'm working on updating our brochure which will include the student rates, so we could easily hand some of these out/leave them on a table. However, we should question the role of SkullSpace at a "youth" event, esp. if it's for youth under 18. It would be a little discouraging to have a cool group like SkSp at a youth event and have to tell them that joining as a minor is a limited process. On the flip side, we could use it as an opportunity to promote joining something "when you're older, son." :P On 11 February 2013 10:27, Ron <[email protected]> wrote: > Something to consider if anybody wants to take the lead: > > ----- Forwarded message from Jim Sanders <[email protected]> ----- > > Date: Mon, 11 Feb 2013 10:12:25 -0600 > From: Jim Sanders <[email protected]> > To: [email protected] > Reply-To: [email protected] > Subject: [SkullSpace-Admin] Freeze Frame 2013 > > Hello Kind People of Skullspace, > > I am the artistic director of Freeze Frame International Film Festival for > Kids of All Ages > that takes place this year from March 3rd to 10th. > http://www.freezeframeonline.org/ > > One of the parts of our program we are developing is a free drop in Media > Zone: > > *The Media Zone is a digital playground that explores new developments in > technology with media art installations and daily feature presentations led > by industry professionals.
