There's certainly a balance to be struck. But when threads wind up with 15 off-topic posts at the end, all joking about something, that's a lot of stuff for people to read through.
I don't want it to be all 100% srsface >:| stuff. I want to have fun, but I also don't want to come back to a mailbox full of pointless messages. Just use common sense.
