And I read the minutes of all meetings I don't attend, and I still don't
know what's happening in this issue, so I assumed no one cares enough to
act.

No, we aren't currently sustainable with existing membership levels. We are
fortunate to have enough of a buffer that will hopefully last until we
recruit more members. Are we actively recruiting?

But that doesn't mean we should wait until membership increases to start
planning or fundraising. Fundraising takes a lot of time and effort and can
never be started too soon.

One of the most attractive plans for fundraising was to help work a bingo
at the casino. If I remember correctly, we'll need a dozen volunteers to
work a single evening shift. But we have to apply, indicating what the
money will
be used for. Has anyone done this yet? If not, is there something
outstanding still required?

If there is no team working on fundraising of any sort (it doesn't have to
be a bingo), and it's just on the back burner for the directors to deal
with someday, it's simply not gonna happen. Someone has to give enough of
a fuck to go beyond talking.
