Brita water always tastes funny, and it's far more work/less accessible.
I'd definitely buy bottled water, and whenever we stock it, it
disappears quickly.

Juice has a lot of calories, but it also has nutrients and the calories
come from natural sources, which means the body processes them
differently. I occasionally drink juice of various types, but I don't
drink pop.

That, I have no answer on. We've never really stocked any veg* stuff, it
would be cool to have some Amy's Burritos or something like that. Maybe
I can pick up a few next time I'm at the store if they don't sell them
at Costco.
