+1 on the no bottled water. Those things contribute way too much to our
landfills... seriously, it should be a capital offence to buy that Fiji
water brand. WTF FIJI WATER ANYWAYS?? SINCE WHEN WAS FIJI CONSIDERED THE
STANDARD IN WATER?! It almost makes me cry to think all the gas burnt, time
wasted, and packaging consumed just to ship their water here.

That being said, I admit Evian tastes amazing... REALLY amazing when
chilled... although you can get water from nearby Sandilands Provincial
Park (Jackson Springs operates an aquifer out of there) for about
$6.50/jug, and it tastes just as great. Beware the $2 el-cheapo water jugs
you can buy; most often this is just reverse-osmosis water and it retains
that flat and metallic taste - definitely not enjoyable.

The Brita water definitely has an odour to it - possibly this could be
mitigated by replacing the filter. There's also the possibility of
replacing the jug with a sealed-type pitcher, so as not to introduce
smells/odours from other items in the fridge into the water.

Keep in mind that buying a water cooler means someone will have to
clean/disinfect it once a month - this is absolutely required, esp.
depending on the type of water you're using in it. Scaling can be an issue
with mineral-rich water, over a longer period of time. The spigots should
be completely removable so as to allow a pipe-cleaner-style brush to clean
in it.

Siu: The flavoured water you bought last time was some kind of
diet-friendly water, flavoured with Aspartame or something, so I wouldn't
really consider that the best choice... there should be something else
available out there, and I'm willing to come with you on your next run to
find suitable alternatives. Another suggestion: Perhaps there's a bulk
trail mix we can buy, and separate it into small baggies, and sell those?
That would be a great little snack!
