Something as simple as 'SkullSpace Open House' would be a good sane default. Naming after the theme is a great idea, but this kind of thing will not have much of an affect if we don't advertise or market it in any way (as seems to be the case with this past weekend). I don't think hackathon makes sense as a name for what we do anymore.
I would love for us to organize actual hackathons, where we work together (or against each other) to solve a well defined, specific problem (such as battleship as we've discussed previously on IRC). I know this isn't trivial to put together but if anyone wants to organize a hackathon around an interesting problem, I'd be game for helping out organize.
