The new sound system is now completely set up in the lounge. BIG BIG THANKS to OCTOPI for donating this brand new system.
DO NOT FUCK WITH IT. We spent hours running cables, tying cables, labeling everything. You have inputs/outputs for everything that are clearly labeled and available. If you have a question, please email me, or Colin, or Ian, or Mike. Be mindful of bass and neighbours during business hours and late nights. Thanks Ian, Colin, Thor, Aemilianus, Mike, David, Stefan, Brian, and whoever else I missed... great team effort everyone! Info to follow on the wiki soon by someone else. :P Other improvements: Lounge has been slightly reconfigured. The bookcase in the corner has been moved. We started clearing an area in the back (to the side of the elevator where that shelf full of crap/Colin's stuff was) for game cabinets - the Skullotron, Rylaan's Bomberman cabinet, Colin's MAME machine. The "area of doom" has grown. Go through it and see if you want/need anything from there. If you want to keep it at the space, find a spot for it and label it. We will be taking the two large speakers and an amp from Ian and using it in the classroom for speech amplification during talks. We'll be christening the new system on Friday night!
