My apologies. I assumed that setting up an opt-in list would be a trivial
task for someone familiar with out mail server and the mailman program. I
was not asking that anyone be automatically subscribed to it, as the point
was to not force anything on anyone.

If the group prefers that I dick around with it myself, I hereby request
the necessary access to do so.
