I had bought a Radeon HD 2600 or so back in 2008, for something like $120.
Nowadays, my Surface Pro’s embedded graphics performs better than that. Hoorah
for the blistering pace of technological advancement!

Right now, the Skullotron is running on-board graphics. I was thinking of using
the card from my mangled Terraria machine (above the member storage, last I
checked), since I don’t really need it anymore, but I’m not sure how powerful
the card is—I had scavenged it from scraps I found back in 2012 when I was
trying to find something that could run Terraria well. Bring yours, compare,
and try to get one or the other working in the Skullotron.

Subject: [SkullSpace-Discuss] Old graphics card

It occurred to me that I have an old, unused, graphics card from about 2008, I
think it was a 3870 ATI, I bought it and a 9800 and started with the NVIDEA,
and I never looked back, I am thinking about bringing it in to put in the
Skull-o-Tron. I don't know if it has enough power. Let me know what you guys
think.
