Should've read all responses before firing off a quick one-liner. Concerning the MESS/Hyperspin project:
1. What is needed: a decent computer running Windows 7, and a USB joystick (or two). Possibly we could integrate that huge arcade-style set of gaming controls but I'll leave that up to someone else to map keys to it. It could potentially work well when emulating MAME as those are arcade games, but otherwise you'll want to use the USB PSX-like controller. Thor has two and I think he's lent one to the space. 2. The lounge PC is perfect for this project. Just someone needs to install a 1TB drive, and give me teamviewer details and I will do the rest. Really there should be no discussion of space requirements or anything... if someone ever wants to put it into an arcade cabinet they can remove the 1TB HDD and put it in another system. Note: If someone does install the HDD as I requested, please make it drive F. It will save a lot of config time.
