Again, it's important to keep in mind the context in which business cards are given out. Traditionally, a business card is only given out after a personal connection is made - it's supposed to serve as a physical representation of that contact (Japanese business culture takes this to the extreme). I'm not going to give a voice-mail number to a good contact. Aside: As they represent personal contacts - business cards are also supposed to survive for a long time - this is why I'm not a fan of "free" business cards that fall apart easily. Leaflets and brochures however, are expected to have the lifespan of however long it takes to read them. Your earlier comments seem to indicate that you view business cards as a cheaper replacement for brochures. I'm afraid they don't replace each other so much as compliment each other. - Jay / @Sporked Ps.
