Shh, keep on training people to open Word documents. It's perfectly
fine. ;)

Seriously though, if you want a rich sharable document format, Google
Docs is way better. It's less functional, but easier to share and
doesn't discriminate against people on the wrong OS :)

That being said, I'd rather*1000 see this sorta thing on the wiki.
That's been our central document repository for years, and unless we
have a solid plan for having another repository, and not just files
in incompatible formats emailed around, we should continue using it.
