Thanks guys for your help with this.

In the end I've switched the Slimserver back to my WindowsXP machine
and I've got it working again.

I'm not sure why I couldn't get it to run on my Mac Mini.  I have
512MB memory installed and didn't have the firewall switched on.

But anyway - at least it is running again now and probably makes more
sense on my WinXP machine as it has 1GB of memory and a 3.0 GHz
processor.
