Just started reading this thread the other day. Is this the Album Covers for your SLIMP3 you are using and does it do batch work with MP3 ID-V1 files as well as volume 2?

Thanks,

David

Use the full path to the Slim folder that has the CPAN folder in it.

Ok, running from the right directory this time :-)

C:\amazon_image>make_cover.pl -p "c:\program files\slimserver" -m "c:\documents
and settings\all users.windows\documents\my music\slimp3"
You must provide the full path to your Slimserver installation

I've tried running with -p directed to slimserver.exe, and without the quotes "". Always get the must provide the full path to you slimserver installation" message.
I'm doing something blatantly wrong here aren't I :-)

Run it from the same directory as the make_cover.pl script.

Just tried this on windows xp.
I've changed the perl location in make_cover.pl to #!c:\perl/bin/perl -w
and ran it from a command line
It fails with the message

C:\Documents and Settings\max barker>C:\amazon_image\make_cover.pl
Can't locate AmazonMusicImage.pm in @INC (@INC contains: C:/Perl/lib
C:/Perl/site/lib .) at C:\amazon_image\make_cover.pl line 4.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at C:\amazon_image\make_cover.pl line 4.

Where am I going wrong?

Thanks Victor. Looks unix'y - have others tested it
on Windows? Also, seems to be specific to MP3, would
it work on my WMA files?

It *is* unix-y, but that's because I am :)

It runs fine under Windows and OSX as long as you're ok with running it from the command line. Others with more Windows experience have run it and can help you with any problems -- but it seems painless.

As for file types, anything that your Slim server recognizes (including WMA), this code will pick up as well.
