Hi, I have Slimserver (v5.4.0) installed on RedHat 7.3 and it has been work flawlessly everyday for a couple of months, until yesterday, when the Squeezebox could not find the Slimserver.
This is what I have checked so far; The Slimserver service will start & stop without error (via the RH Service GUI). I connected to the Slimserver web interface, from a remote machine, and it loaded ok but I can't play any songs or add any to the 'playlist'. Nothing has been written to the logfile since it was last working. However if I rename the logfile and restart the service a new one is created. The machine itself is a headless box and is used solely as a Slimserver, which is why i am so surprised it just stopped working! Hardisk space is ok also. Any ideas, other than reinstalling Slimserver, pleeease?!
