No, the vertical settings appear to be the same - this suggests that signal levels are different, i.e. the output from their gadget is higher.
Probably, but it no longer a fair test to show rise time and jitter if the amplitude/time ratio is not constant. It is irrelevant if it is due to scope settings or signal amplification.
