Ok, was more thinking about input, ie using the sb2 as a remote sensor, ref bug http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=658.
Apparently it only requires a slightly different IR code parser than the
current one.
Sure, it's doable (would not require geekport - the built-in IR sensor could do this).
