Can I control Squeezebox2 in other ways, besides using SlimServer and the remote control?
Yes. Squeezebox2 has both an HTTP interface and a command-line style interface so you can control the player from your own scripts or from the command line. See the Technical Information section on the online documentation.
Does this mean that the _Squeezebox_ can be controlled via HTTP or does it mean that _SlimServer_ can be controlled through HTTP?
What is the "command-line style" interface? Are there some standard command-line utilities written to do playback or does it mean that command-line programs could be written (using the HTTP interface, I assume)? Once again, is this an interface with the Squeezebox or with SlimServer?
