When I turn on my computer in the morning, I have to wait 5
minutes or more before I can connect to the Internet, while SlimServer 5.4.0
(which comes on automatically) connects to my Squeezebox (located in another
room) via a corded router. Otherwise I get repeated failed attempts to
connect to the Internet. Once the connection between SlimServer and SB is made
(and the correct time appears on SB), then I can connect to the Internet without
problems.
Is this normal? And if so, is there a way of speeding this up,
so I don't have to stare at my computer for 5 minutes before attempting to
connect to the Internet?
