Well, maybe not automatically. I think the windows users can use
foobar2000 to do stuff like this.  

Personally, this is what I do...

metaflac --export-cuesheet-to=- /var/archives/SomeAlbum.cue.flac 
|/usr/bin/cuebreakpoints -t cue -f - |shntool split -o cust ext=mp3 \{ lame - 
-preset fast standard - %f \} /var/archives/SomeAlbum.cue.flac
