Hi, a general question about the use of iTunes: could someone explain the difference between "reloading the iTunes library" and "rescanning". What is happening in the background.
The difference between the 2 is not clear to me and then I am not sure about the effect of the parameters that controls them. There is a reload iTunes library interval (default 60 sec) and a rescan library plugin the allows to schedule a rescan. If I turn the rescan scheduler on, do I still need to reload the iTunes library? There doesn't seem to be a way to schedule a "reload of the itunes library" or trigger it manually?
