Yes; your understanding was correct. When I follow your instructions I get only this in the Console:
"0 [SlimTCP-1] DEBUG player.verbose - status=STMc fullness=0 bytesRx=0 elapsedSeconds=0 16 [SlimTCP-1] DEBUG player.verbose - status=STMh fullness=0 bytesRx=0 elapsedSeconds=0" I then accidentally pressed RESET, instead of CLEAR, and after I closed SoftSqueeze down and opened it up again, I got responsive buttons back - although it wouldn't play anything. Then I had to FORGET the previous SoftSqueezae player and associate the 'new' one, and then the buttons froze again! -- Neil "Richard Titmuss" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote in message news:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Neil Cameron wrote: > >>Running on Win XP with SlimServer running as a service. >>Trying to play MP3 files. >>I activated those debug settinsg but get no response from any SoftSqueeze >>button and nothing in the console at all. >> >>If it is of interest; the icon calls itself SoftSqueeze 2.0b2, but the >>player describes itself as 2.0a16... >> >> > If I understand correctly then: the Softsqueeze UI is correctly displayed; > the Softsqueeze buttons (e.g. hide/show remote, preferences, quit, etc). > are working; the remote buttons (e.g. play, pause, volume, etc) do not > work > > Can you check in the slimserver web interface, looking at the playlist for > this player.
