Could you edit slimserver-convert.conf and change #PIPE# to #DEBUGPIPE# for each convert command, restart the server and repost what you see when you start a stream?

I've followed Neil's instructions and run Slimserver from the command line
and get the following output when running 'Radio 1' from the AlienBBC menu
(a new section titled WAVE Format is added to the log each time it attempts
to reconnect):

etc. etc.

I'm running 6.0 straight off the downloads section for W2k on W2k SP4. The
plugin menu seems ok.

Sure, just a thought. Not worth pursuing if it's difficult.

How about giving you the option to remember the last menu you selected. That way if you always select from the playlist this is displayed first.

That sounds useful.

The AlienStream name is a hangup from the past - I think we
should change it to "Alien Playlist".

Yes, it would be sensible.

Incidently did you know you can have sub-folders in the AlienStream folder and these are displayed in a hierarchical menu from the top level menu.

Useful.

A request for Alien BBC, but I don't know if it is more trouble than
 it is worth to do.

On the Squeezebox itself (doesn't matter so much for the Web
interface) it would be nice to be able to move some of the menu items
around. In particular (and this must be easier than doing it for
general menu items), once I have created a playlist or playlists for
my favourite programmes, it would be useful to have the AlienStream
Playlists item at the top of the menu.

By the way, as Alienstream is no longer being used, perhaps the name
 of this item needs changing.
