That would possibly be nice - I have no interest in Mac-specific content.

I'd hate it if people posted things to a Mac-specific list if they weren't actually Mac specific problems. For that reason, I'm not sure it's all that wise to have a specific unix list. Perhaps it would be better to have a specific windows list, as that would be the biggest group of users.

I tend to agree. Also, The Unix/Linux list should possibly include Mac. There are differences, of course, but most Mac problems have been Unixy in nature.


Do we have to sign up separately to the email lists if we want them?

Though, at the moment, I think that, while I was happy with one big email ist, if I have to subscribe to many, I may as well change to the forums.
