I'm sure they just haven't got around to updating the web site yet. 

As far as I'm concerned, I'm happy they took the trouble to email me.
They informed me promptly and gave me a very amenable option to get a
black one instead.

As kdf said, supply problems happen. The honest course is to admit it
and that's what they've done, even going so far as to estimate when it
will be sorted out: you really can't ask more than that.

I always prefer honest estimates to over-optimistic ones (conservative
estimates are the only conservative thing I like). If someone says I'll
get something in a week and it hasn't arrived after two, I'm unhappy. If
they ask me to allow 28 days and it comes in two weeks, I feel I have
been especially well looked after.

The more dealings I have with these guys, the more I like them. (Now go
and update your web site! :) )
