I'm using my SB2 wirelessly with Airport Extreme. I have been using uncompressed formats (to compare to a good CD player) and have dropouts that seem unrelated to signal strength. I switched from Apple lossless to AIFF, but no improvement. Happens with with the web interface or off. Always seems to go in spurts. That i, I can have no problems for quite some time, then a ton of dropouts. It never happens with internet radio.
I'm thinking it's a bandwidth problem that may be hard to solve short of going from wireless to ethernet, but this isn't possible for me. Any ideas?
