I have my music library nicely ripped as FLAC, and SlimServer plays them back great... it nicely transcodes (via Lame or its own stuff now) when playing a stream across the wire to a Mac/PC, etc. All great.
Now for the next step I wish I could figure out how to do... I want to be able to pick and choose music to download to an iPod or other player device. They want mp3... fine, I can transcode them, but I really wish there was a "already transcoded" link in SlimServer... I can download the flac file, but the infrastructure is mostly there to send it to be transcoded, etc. Anybody got any ideas?
