I'm extremely pleased with my Squeezebox running on Windows 98. I can listen to my 128kbps CD Quality MP3's just fine on my Alba Midi Hi-Fi System, and simply record my fave songs to tape for playing in the car. I would never ever consider any other music format, I mean I spent a few hundred dollars on the Squeezebox so spending any sort of money on a hard disk for pointless FLAC encoding, or buying any of those silly seperates systems or tall speakers I see in those expensive hi-fi shop windows is pointless when I can get a great system for less than the cost of my Squeezebox from the Argos catalogue. </not playing> -- Jim _______________________________________________ Discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
