FLAC itself can calculate replaygain values and store them as tags in
the file. To get these to playback with the gain adjustment, make
sure that convert.conf (or slimserver-convert.conf which won't get
overwritten on upgrade) uses the quite descriptive option
"--apply-replaygain-which-is-not-lossless=a" (or =t if you want track
gain).
