Hey DrNic, have you tested the FLAC files to see if there's any increase in sound quality over MP3?
It would be one thing to *re-rip* all your CDs to FLAC. That would be a great idea. But I can't imagine you can achieve anything--besides bigger file sizes--by going from MP3 to FLAC. The MP3 files have already thrown away valuable information, which won't be restored just by converting to FLAC.
