Somehow I don't see SlimServer as ever being intended as a "tag
debugging" tool.  Case insensitivity is hardly AI.  We're not talking
about spelling or grammar correction.

Is the intention for SlimServer to catalog your library in a useful
manner or is it there so people can find trivial differences in
capitalization in their tags?  A _lot_ of people don't have the time or
the desire to meticulously pour over the tags on their music files in
order to make the SlimServer user interface more coherent.  

If the dropping of leading articles is undesired then it could be made
a server option, as suggested in the enhancement request.  The article
list could then be cleared and you'd have the same behavior you have
now.
