I don't think anybody is saying that the _search_ should necessarily be case-sensitive. Instead there should be checkboxes in advanced search for 'case sensitive' and 'allow substring match', but for the search on the player and live search case insensite is fine. What some people (including me) don't want, is two tags that only differ in case be treated as equal for display and cross referencing purposes. After all, if there's Jazz, jazz and jAZZ - how should slimserver determine which is correct?
