That is not working right, you should not hear any delay when playing in sync. You did not mention what type of operating system you are using. If it is windows check that you are using the Primary Sound driver. Does the delay vary during a song, or is it constant. Also what leads the squeezebox or Softsqueeze? Although most people report that sync with Softsqueeze works well, a few people are having problems. At the moment I am not sure why.
