Java web start installs things in a strange place. If you want to start Softsqueeze from the command line I suggest you download the version from sourceforge at http://softsqueeze.sourceforge.net. You can either download a zip file (and install it where you want), or an rpm that installs in /usr/local/softsqueeze.
