Eagerly awaiting the website, as well. Here is what I have been looking at:
Either the ReadyNAS or Terastation (prefer ReadyNAS) to get about 750 GB of usefull RAID5 storage (1TB raw). Hotswap drives a plus, but not required. I was then either going to a) hack the NAS to put in slimserver, or stand up an external box (Soekris 4801, probably) to run slimserver. What I am looking for, is the same, in one box. The ability to do snapshots is a big plus, as well. If your device will host external SATA drives, will it support RAID (hard or soft), which RAID levels, and how many external SATA drives. I will hold out, but only can for another week or so.
