my server is running on fedora 2.
if I manually change the filename to something without accents then it
sees the file ok.. even showing the correct accents from the id3 tags.
if the filenames have any kind of accented characters in them, they
vanish from the listings
What is your LC_CTYPE or LANG environment variable set to?
Do you know what encoding you used when you ripped the file?
