Thanks for the answers so far. I've just got a couple more questions:

This bug has been open for over a year, I assume that this is because
it's a difficult one to fix rather than that there's not many people
affected?

If the above is true, is there any intermediate stage that could be
implemented to lessen the impact?

For example, I experience the dropouts on both synchronised SB2s. Why
can't one SB2 be nominated as the 'master' and play the music with no
interruptions, any other synchronised SB2s would be designated 'slave'
and would experience the re-synchronisation as each new track starts?
This would help me since the SB2 downstairs that I listen to most
would be fine and I'd only hear the gaps when I'm upstairs using the
other SB2.

Alternatively, would it be possible to have the ability to turn off
the resynchronisation and leave it to the listener to re-sync by
pausing/restarting the music? I might rip an album as one track and
see how long two wired SB2s can remain in sync for.

I hope this is useful, if not I'm sure you'll tell me :). This is just
about the only problem I have with my SBs and I have to say those
little gaps are really irritating.

Richard
