I think that depends on how its marketed. As I mentioned in an earlier
post, I think this should be sold as an internet clock radio that -by
default- hooks up to SqueezeNetwork. No setting up required, other than
entering your wireless details (a task that doesn't seem to phase
Wii-owners). Then you have -the option- of installing your own
SqueezeCenter to access your digital music collection.

SD devices have historically been marketed the other way round, but
here I think they need to take a different stance.

It wouldn't make a good 'phone socket if it doesn't support full range
stereo. ;-) I don't expect there to be some clever electronics in
there, that can determine whether there are headphones or a sub
attached - I expect it will assume any attached sub will handle its own
crossover. Alternatively, there'll be a setting in the UI that allows
you to specify what's attached.
