The sub out feature could be significant in allowing the Boom to be upgraded to a killer full-range system capable of peeling paint off the walls. A lot depends on the quality of the built-in drivers. This is the first time Slim has done any amp-speaker design, so I'm anxious to see/hear what they've come up with. With T-amps, biamping, sound-shaping tailored to each driver's characteristics, etc., it's possible to get very good sound quality in a compact design.
