FWIW, I'm running SC7 on top of a NAS whose horsepower wouldn't even compare to a Pentium machine. The web UI is too slow to be really usable/enjoyable for browsing my 10k tracks musical collection, but I just don't care since I'm using Squeezeboxen _official_ human-machine interfaces : IR-based SB remotes and SB Controller. And they are all snappy enough to my taste, thanks.
