Perhaps. Personally, I find that, while Slim was very american in some ways (mostly the good ways), I've stuck with them because they're very unamerican in other ways. Good ways that they are american: * entrepreneurship: company was started more or less in a garage with a wire-wrapped prototype (the sliMP3).
