I heard the A2s only briefly in a shop. I never owned them. But I would be very surprised if they sounded better than Boom. Seriously. Since Boom's woofers and tweeters are of a known design and performance and since the whole thing is powered by a DSP there was some intensive tuning going on. Simply put, Boom was built around its speakers. The DSP was tweaked for the exact speakers that Boom uses and can do some amazing things with them. External speakers don't have that advantage. This is not to say the A2s are poor - far from it. -- Mark Lanctot "Make it so it doesn't suck" is a good design target, but hard to implement - Michael Herger ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mark Lanctot's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2071 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=50760 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
