when you say backup, what should get backed up?  the executables all
install in the same program files location...is that what you're
referring to?

I have the previous install exe's, so I just let it rip and all went
well.  But if there is something specific I should back up other than
the program files (which I could just reinstall) that sounds like a
good thing to do.

As with 7.1, this was a pretty painless upgrade.  Good job Logitech
guys.
